Dr John Trougakos

John Trougakos (Ph.D., MBA) is a Professor of Management as well as Academic Director of the Management in International Business and Global Leadership programs at the University of Toronto. John’s work focuses on the dynamics of effective organizations, seeking to provide insights into current organizational challenges as well as those of the rapidly evolving workplaces of the future. He has helped companies with issues related to corporate strategy, future proofing initiatives, leadership training, group and team effectiveness, as well as employee well-being, engagement, and productivity. His award-winning research has been published in numerous leading academic journals and has been featured widely by a variety of media outlets, including the New York Times, BBC, CBC, the Globe and Mail, the Toronto Star, and Time, to name a few. In addition to teaching in the executive programs at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School, some of his other industry collaborations include Staples Corporation, the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer, the U.S. Department of Labor, the Canadian Securities Traders Association, the Ontario Pension Board, and Chairman’s Brands. John is also an associate consultant for Work Time Revolution.
