Hayley Ives

Hayley is a Director in the Tax Resolutions team with extensive experience of helping taxpayers deal with HMRC when issues arise which need resolving.

She covers all aspects of tax resolutions including fraud investigations, disputes with HMRC concerning, for example, penalties, assessments and information notices, HMRC challenges under self-assessment and voluntary disclosures. Some of this is UK centred but, with HMRC’s ongoing interest in gathering intelligence relating to offshore matters, a lot of her cases relate to overseas assets, trusts and other structures.

Hayley is a CTA qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (individuals / Trusts, estates and inheritance tax) and has worked in tax since 2005. She is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, having completed the STEP Diploma in Tax and Estate Planning.
