Stacey Hillyard

Stacey is a Fellow of the ICAEW with over 25 years’ experience gained in variety of roles within the profession. After qualifying at an independent practice in Dorset, Stacey spent 8 years as an audit manager before moving into regulatory compliance and consultancy, enjoying roles as a Technical Consultant with SWAT and Mercia. Stacey also worked for ICAEW in their Professional Standards Department as a QAD reviewer carrying out regulatory monitoring visits to ICAEW member firms and providing audit compliance training to reviewers from accountancy bodies based overseas including Sri Lanka and Botswana. In recent years, Stacey has combined compliance reviews with running a successful small practice enabling her to understand practitioner issues from both compliance and client service perspectives.

In her spare time, Stacey spends many enjoyable but also frustrating hours trying to improve her golf handicap.
