Sustainability not only protects our planet. Creating a sustainable practice can also help to develop or enhance a "brand" or culture in a way that can be very attractive to clients and team members.

The development of skills and resources in relation to the environmental, economic and social dimensions can also lay the foundation for a new advisory service to clients.

The collective benefits to the planet, profits and people are known as the 'triple bottom line' and in this session our Technical Director Sharon Cooke looks at what top practices are already doing and introduces leading Sustainability Consultant, Georgina Mcleod, to talk about how to practically boost each component of the Triple Bottom Line, whether starting at the beginning or mid-way through the journey.

In this session, we review some best practices for your shop window (your website, your social media and your reception area), including picking up on the themes discussed today. We will also consider where technology and software can help to streamline the process and ensure your firm is attracting the best people and clients.

In this session we review the professional CPD requirements but consider how practices can go further and engage with their teams in considering the skills needed to thrive in future. This will also help to drive future recruitment by focussing on what we really need, once we have our practice tech and culture in place.

Flexible and hybrid working is here to stay. In this session we learn from employer support expert Jane van Zyl how to make it work; ensuring an inclusive working environment, a team that is engaged and managers equipped to lead and support in new ways.

Wellbeing and mental health are the second highest rated work concern for the future. Statistics show that 61% of employees cite mental health suffering due to work pressures. 71% of employees want their organisations to help them in managing mental health.

In this session, we look at what can be done to secure the health of our individuals and our teams as a whole.

He is also going to include his ‘internal Celebrity Service’ section which will explore how we can take the principles of celebrity service for clients and apply them to our internal team; ensuring we are a firm that the best people want to work for and shout from the rooftops about.
