HMRC announced on 28 April 2025 that the start date for mandatory payrolling of benefits in kind will be deferred from 6 April 2026 to 6 April 2027, as this has been postponed a year, we have decided to move the webinar to the 2 March 2026 to try and ensure the content is up to date with new announcements. For the latest HMRC Technical note - Reporting and paying Income Tax and Class 1A National Insurance contributions on benefits in kind in real time – an update - GOV.UK
All employers will have to payroll most of their benefits in kind from 6 April 20265 rather than preparing annual P11Dds. The webinar will consider the practical issues arising for employers and their advisors, including issues relating to the transition to the new system.
This webinar follows our February 2025 event (https://www.2020innovation.com/webinar/payrolling-benefits-in-2025-26) when not all HMRC information or expectations were known. In this latest webinar, we will look at the certainties and prepare for the mandatory changes from April 2026.
• How benefits will be payrolled by employers
• The complex aspects of the regime including practical examples of calculations
• The information required to effectively payroll benefits
• The guidance published by HMRC on how the regime will work
Individuals in practice who provide payroll services or who are dealing with employers who may need guidance on new rules. Individuals who attended our earlier February 2025 webinar will also find this latest one valuable.
