Objectives

Making Tax Digital for Income Tax is a significant change for you, your clients and HMRC. Everyone who will be impacted needs to be ready for this change.

Digital record keeping, use of third-party software and quarterly submissions are major new requirements for sole traders and landlords and they and their agents need to be ready in good time before 5 April 2026.

There are also opportunities for agents and their clients to participate in HMRC’s Testing programmes in the lead up to mandation.

In this webinar, HMRC update us on the latest roadmap and ensure that agents are equipped to inform and onboard their clients and plan their own practice workflow processes.

Key Points

  • How you can prepare for ITSA mandation from April 2026
  • What to do to prepare your clients for this digital shift and why you should start now
  • Digital Record Keeping
  • Private Testing in 2024 and the benefits in taking part
  • HMRC plans for Public Testing in 2025

Who should attend?

Partners and managers in accountancy practices that work with private clients with trade or property income. Those responsible for the accountancy practice processes, workflows, software choices and client software choices will also benefit from attending.

The webinar will have appropriate content for those with any level of knowledge on Making Tax Digital (MTD)
