On 25th May 2022 and 3rd October 2022 we will hold (and record) a full day Tax, Accounts and Audit virtual event with leading speakers Rebecca Benneyworth and Mike Ulrich.
The sessions will provide delegates with a practical and intensive review of recent tax developments, accounting and auditing standards as well as proposed changes that are likely to occur in the near future. Participants will also receive extensive Audit and Accounts content to help you appreciate current and important issues within the profession.
CONTENT
TAX UPDATE
This session will bring you up to date with the tax changes in the last 12 months or so, and will also cover developing and emerging issues. The content will be covered from the point of view of a general practice dealing with a wide rang of business and personal tax clients, and will include practical tips on how best to advise clients in the light of the changes. The precise content will be determined by tax announcements leading up to the date of the course.
The content will fall into the following topic areas:
Corporation tax and business income tax including capital allowances and thoughts on incorporation
Personal income tax – employment taxes, profit extraction issues, benefit in kind developments
Savings and capital taxes developments
Current VAT issues including MTD final stage and new VAT penalties
Basis period reform for income tax – what should we be advising?
Tax administration developments including planning for MTD for ITSA.
