Martyn Ingles

Martyn qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1982 and has specialised in taxation ever since. He became a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in 1983 whilst working for Arthur Andersen in London.

For ten years Martyn worked for the Financial Training Company (now Kaplan) lecturing in taxation and other accounting subjects to students preparing for their accountancy and taxation examinations, as well as on CPE and CPD courses.

On his return to professional practice in January 1997 Martyn joined Horwath Clark Whitehill, becoming a partner in October 1998. Now a freelance tax lecturer for 20 years, Martyn provides tax CPD training courses for accountants, lawyers, corporate financiers. He also runs his own tax consultancy providing advice to family businesses, in particular on exit and succession planning, share schemes and restructuring.

Martyn prepares the monthly client tax newsletters for 2020 Innovation and also presents the monthly tax webinars.
