The world’s largest accounting and finance expo, Accountex London, is set to return to Excel on 14-15 May 2025.
Following a record-breaking 2024 edition, over 11,500 attendees from around the world are expected to gather once again.
‘Accountex is a treasure trove of knowledge and connections’
“Every year Accountex proves itself as THE one-stop-shop for the accounting and finance community. And this edition is no exception! There are lots of new features to help attendees leave with ideas that they can immediately put into practice, and boost their careers.
As always, the education programme is packed with exclusive industry updates, and the exhibitor list is full of both established brands and up-and-coming start-ups.” said Accountex Portfolio Director, Caroline Hobden.
‘I saved so much time comparing all my potential suppliers in one place’
Attendees will have the opportunity to reconnect with current suppliers, discover the latest product launches, and explore new solutions designed to optimise business processes, save time and reduce costs.
The exhibitor lineup features 300 fintech companies, including industry leaders such as FreeAgent, Intuit QuickBooks, IRIS, Sage, TaxCalc, Wolters Kluwer, and Xero. Additionally, emerging brands and first-time exhibitors like AY Business Law, Briefcase, Business Fitness, Accounting Flow, AuditBot, and Adsum will be exhibiting.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to catch up with the 20:20 Innovation team at stand 830.
20:20 Innovation’s very own Sharon Cooke, Technical Director – Training, will be presenting the session: ‘Top 10 tax considerations for 2025/26’ at 10am on 14 May on the Horizon Stage.
On day 2, Billie Mcloughlin, Practice Consultant is part of the panel ‘Is MTD IT a good news story for accountants & bookkeepers?’ in the App Advisory theatre at 12pm.
At 3pm at the Visionary’s Theatre, David Norris, Technical Director will be delivering the seminar ‘If AI changes my practice, how should my practice respond?’ The session will look at the practical ways AI can improve service delivery and provide opportunities for new service lines, and then consider the impact on key aspects of the firm.
“Without Accountex, I would never have come across a lot of the companies I am now working with, growth would have been slower and my systems would not have been as good. You just do not know what you’re missing out on until you have experienced it yourself.” commented visitor Mark Freed, Accountant, Freed Accountancy.
The CPD-accredited seminar programme features 250+ sessions across 13 theatres, covering a range of topics relevant to accounting, finance, and bookkeeping professionals. Themes include practice growth strategies, AI advancements, ESG, AML, and the latest Making Tax Digital updates from HMRC.
“Accountex was a brilliant and insightful day out. As a small practice owner, I had so many ideas and lightbulb moments while listening to industry professionals. Absolutely will be returning next year!” said visitor Travus Wynne, Director, Happy Days MK Ltd.
‘The event was buzzing with outstanding speakers, wonderful networking opportunities, and plenty of fun!’
As thousands of the accounting and finance community reunite over the two days, there are countless networking opportunities to make new connections and catch up with colleagues. This includes the Bookkeepers Basecamp, Sustainability zone, Content Creation Clinic and after-show parties.
Popular Accountex features are set to return, including the Ask the Accountants Podcast Pitstop. Hosts Johann Goree and Aaron Patrick will interview industry experts and leaders, sharing insights and key takeaways from the event.
Another highlight is the ‘Trees for Attendees’ initiative with Carma, who will plant a tree for every attendee at Accountex London 2025. Since May 2023 a total of over 27,000 trees have been planted. The aim is to help mitigate the event’s carbon footprint whilst supporting communities across the world.
Additionally, Watch This Sp_ce will return as the official Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion partner, hosting the Quiet Room, where attendees can take a break and recharge.
“My first time at Accountex this year and it was such a buzz – who knew that Accounting and Finance could be so much fun! The sessions were great and included some professional, inspirational speakers that I would have paid good money to see, but Accountex is free!” said visitor Sarah Wheatley, Accounts Manager, ACE Scaffolding Contractors Ltd.
Accountex London will take place at Excel on 14-15 May 2025.
